About
I've had the Travel Bug as long as I can remember. My first trip abroad without my family came in 2003, when I traveled to Australia with People to People Student Ambassadors, and I've been abroad every 2 years since. Now, with 5 Continents and 25 Countries checked off my endless travel list, I'm finally moving out of the U.S.A. as a Teach for China Fellow!
After graduating in May 2013 from USC with a major in Chinese and 2 minors in News and Film (Fight On!) I moved back home to the Seattle area to teach at a Bilingual Chinese Preschool. I fell in love with the job, the children I was teaching, and the challenges and joys of my new-found livelihood. I applied for the most extraordinary adventure I could find; a 2-year stint as a teacher at Jinbi Primary School in Rural China with Teach for China (tfchina.org). Tribute to Travel is a collection of stories, photographs, and videos from my adventures...when the internet allows.
